Touches Reports - Understanding the Summary, Breakdown & Totals

In Admin View hover over the Reports link until the drop-down menu appears. Click on Touches, which will take you the Touches Report page.

By default, the Touch Report for the previous month is shown. You can view another month by selecting a From and To date. Click the Filter button to generate the report.

Below is an explanation of the Touches Report.

Summary shows an overview of the number of Touches that were generated for the date range you are viewing, how many active users with a T4 there are in your entity; the percentage of users that generated a Touch.

Total Touches - This is the total number of Touches that have been assigned to your entity for the month you are viewing the report for.

Total users - This is the current total number of active users with a T4 attached to your entity.

Touch % - This is the measure of touch activity (total touches as a percentage of users).

Users Breakdown - This is a breakdown to show how many people performed each activity during the month the report is generated for.

Consults - This is the total number of unique users who completed a consult (e.g. BioAge) during the month the report is generated for. If a user completes multiple consults, they will only be counted once for Consults under the Users Breakdown. This number should be equal to the Consults number under the Total Activity Breakdown. If this number does not match, you may have unattached consults in your Consult Responses or you may have some users who have completed the consult more than once.

Events -  This is the total number of unique users who are entered into an event during the month the report is generated for. If a user has entered multiple categories in one event, or they have entered multiple events, they will only be counted once for Events under the Users Breakdown.

Products - This is the total number of unique users who purchased a product during the month the report is generated for. If a user has purchased multiple products, they will only be counted once for Products under the Users Breakdown.

Services Performed - This is the total number of unique users who booked a service during the month the report is generated for. If a user has booked multiple services, they will only be counted once for Services Performed under the Users Breakdown.

External Touches -  This is the total number of unique users who have been part of the External Touches during the month the report is generated for. If a user has multiple external touches, they will only be counted once for External Touches under the Users Breakdown.

Users with Excess Touches - This is the total number of unique users who have performed additional activities that exceed their allowed number of touches for the month the report is generated for. If a user has multiple excess touches, they will only be counted once for Users with Excess Touches under the Users Breakdown.

Total Activity Breakdown - This is a breakdown of the number of activities that were performed during the month the report is generated for.

Total Consults - This is the total number of consults that have been completed during month the report is generated for. This number should be equal to the Consults number under Users Breakdown. If this number does not match, you may have unattached consults in your Consult Responses or you may have some users who have completed the consult more than once.

Total Events - This is the total number of event participants for the month the report is generated for. If someone has entered multiple categories in one event, or they have entered multiple events, the will be counted for each event and/or event category they are entered in. This number does not include the purchase of event entries.

Total Product Sales - This is the total number of products that have been sold through your entity for the month the report is generated for. This number includes purchases for event entries.

Total Services Performed - This is the total number of services that were booked during the month the report is generated for. This number does not include services that have been purchased but not booked. To view services that been purchased, go to Reports -> Purchases to generate a purchases report.

Total External Touches - This is the total number of External Touches that have been uploaded during the month the report is generated for. If a user has multiple external touches, they will be counted for every external touch they have. This number may be higher than External Touches under the Users Breakdown because people are only counted once under the Users Breakdown.

Unawarded Touches - This is the total number of touches that have not been included in the Total Touches because the users who earned them have already been awarded the maximum number of touches they were eligible for during the month the report is generated for.

Each user can have at most 2 Touches per month). One Touch can come from a bio-age consult, while the second Touch can come from either booking a serviceparticipating in an eventpurchasing a product,  or an External Touch that is uploaded to the system (for a service the HWMS doesn't manage i.e. Buzz Nights etc).

Touches are calculated the following way:

A Touch will ALWAYS be generated for a bio-age consult.

A Touch may be generated for ONE other activity in the following order:
1.  Participating in an event
2.  Buying a product
3.  Booking a service
4.  Uploaded touch

To work out the Total Touches for the month you are viewing the report for, you need to add the Total Activity Breakdown together, then subtract the number of unawarded touches. For example:

Total Activity Breakdown

Total Consults: 146

Total Events: 116

Total Product Sales: 27

Total Services Performed: 461

Total External Touches: 8

Unawarded Touches: 375

146 + 116 + 27 + 461 + 8 = 758

758 - 375 = 383

Your Total Touches is 383.

To work out your Touch %, you need to divide your Total Touches (e.g. 383) by your Total Users (e.g. 3270) then multiple that result by 100.

For example, 383 / 3270 = 0.1171

0.1171 x 100 = 11.71

Your Touch % is 11.71%
